Retreads International Motorcycle Club – Mission Statement
At Retreads International Motorcycle Club, our mission is to unite motorcycle enthusiasts aged 40 and over in a global community built on friendship, adventure, and a shared love for the open road.
We welcome all brands of motorcycles and trikes, embracing riders from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Founded in 1969, our club is rooted in camaraderie and the spirit of rekindling our passion for riding. Whether you are an active rider, a retired enthusiast, or someone connected to the motorcycling world, Retreads provides a welcoming space to form lifelong friendships, participate in rallies and events, and stay engaged with a network of like-minded individuals.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive, social environment through local, state, regional, and international gatherings, where members can share their experiences, explore new destinations, and support each other. As a not-for-profit organization, we operate through membership donations that enable us to organize events, publish newsletters, and maintain our proud traditions.
The name Retreads® reflects our journey—many of us rode in our younger years, took a break due to life’s responsibilities, and have now returned to our passion for motorcycling. Just like retreading a well-worn tire, we’ve revived our love for the ride, embracing the road ahead with renewed enthusiasm.
As we continue to grow across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and beyond, we remain dedicated to our core values of friendship, respect, and the joy of motorcycling.
