About the Retreads Crest

The Retreads Crest is more than just an emblem—it’s a symbol of our journey, our camaraderie, and the passion we share for motorcycling. Each element of the crest carries deep meaning, reflecting the experiences and values of the Retreads Motorcycle Club.
Symbolism of the Crest:
🏆 The Shape – Inspired by a prestigious U.S. Navy award, signifying excellence and distinction.
💛 The Gold Field – Represents the Golden Years of life, celebrating riders who have reached 40 and beyond.
🔥 The Red Field with Stallions – Symbolizes the valor, strength, and determination of Retreads members. The stallions, proud and powerful, embody the stamina and resilience of our riders. Their pairing represents teamwork and unity within our club.
⚡ The Bar Sinister (Diagonal Stripe) – The black and blue band running across the crest represents the bruises, lessons, and experiences we’ve gained while mastering the road.
🤍 The White Field – Stands for purity of mind and the excitement of new experiences, as well as the feeling we all had in our first tight squeeze on the road!
🔢 The Red Roman Numerals “XL Plus” – A nod to our age (40+), because as we all know, life truly begins at forty!
🔵 The Blue Overbar – Denotes the state or province of the wearer, representing where they call home within the Retreads community.
🛡️ The Name “Retreads” – Just like tires that are given new life through retreading, many of us have rekindled our love for motorcycling after life’s responsibilities took us away from it. Now, we’re back on the road, recharged, renewed, and Retreaded!
